Girls in STEM & AI Initiative – THOMI AFRICA
At THOMI AFRICA, we are committed to advancing the empowerment of girls and women by equipping them with the tools, opportunities, and support needed to thrive in a digital world. Our Girls in STEM & AI Initiative is a flagship program designed to nurture the next generation of female innovators, leaders, and change-makers across Africa.
Our Mission
To bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and artificial intelligence (AI) by providing access to education, mentorship, and sponsorship for girls and young women—especially those from underserved communities.
Sponsorship of the Girl Child
A core pillar of our initiative is the sponsorship of the girl child. THOMI AFRICA actively identifies and supports girls who face financial and social barriers to education. Through our sponsorship program, we provide:
- School fees assistance
- Learning materials (books, devices, internet access)
